Crest sells a non prescription stannous flouride toothpaste “Detoxify”. I feel like it’s marketed and packaged for daily and ongoing use. Any thoughts on this? Years ago my dentist prescribed the straight up stannous flouride for temporary usage. That was clear it was temporary/intermittent. But, given how the Crest product is marketed…I’m wondering if that too should only be used for a month or so? From list of active ingredients Crest Detoxify: Stannous Fluoride (0.454%) (0.14% w/v Fluoride Ion. Feedback welcomed. Thank you.
